Today is my parents anniversary! Since today is my parents anniversary I get to go to my favorite restaurant, called taikun they have sushi. some of my favorite things to get there are the vegie roll that has avocado, mango, cucumber, and soy paper, d I looooooovvvvee the wagyu beef nigiri and then there is a nice chocolate cupcake!!! And that is why I love taikun.
Tadpoles: As many people know tadpoles are frogs before they turn into frogs. Small fish: When I say small fish I mean literally small fish.
Why am I talking about small fish and tadpoles? I’ll tell you why I spent the whole day at a hotel called the Seafire I had breakfast at ave which I had mentioned on one of my other posts. Then I spent the rest of the day at the beach!! The seafire has these mats in the middle of the ocean that you can swim to and climb on but they have holes in them with a net at the bottom. The mat that I was on there was a large hole inside the net so for some reason two little fish swam through the broken net. They were very small about one inch so my friend dared me to catch one of the small fish with my hands and she would give me ten dollars! I am not 100% sure that it was a fish I think it was a tadpole. I kept trying and trying to catch this little fish with my hands but I was just to scare then finally I caught one of the fish but nobody saw then I caught it again nobody saw then I caught it and jumped right out of my hands finally I caught it my friend saw it and I got 10 dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry I didn’t post really anything today I had school and the I got home from dance really late.
There are very good restaurants in Cayman there are a couple steak restaurants here for example there is the falls or used to be called copper falls(If you like french onion soup the falls is the place to go) Then there is steak social, I like steak social because sometimes they have black salt it tastes no different than regular salt but for some reason I like it! Then there are a few vegan restaurants on the small island for example there is vevo which is in west bay right by the water and the iron shore I like vevo because they have good calamari! Another vegan restaurant is edgy vedge (Do you like poutine they have a pretty good one) The last vegan restaurant is Island naturals they have good smoothies and coconut water. But there are restaurants that are a mix of the two types, like ave which is one of my favorites they have very good falafel. Another mixed restaurant is morgans, morgans has a good yellow curry. There are a ton of good restaurants on the island!! Knock knock! Who’s there! Ice cream! Ice cream who? Ice cream if you don’t let me in… Did you know that Grand Cayman is only 22 miles long.

I am a 10 year old girl named Leah, I am an only child who has lived in Grand Cayman for 7 years. Grand Cayman is in the Caribbean it is a great place to visit it has an ocean and the weather is hot. But when you live in Cayman there are some reasons not to like the island:
1.) It is insanely hot (some people love the heat but I am not one of those people)
2.) It is humid
3.) There is a chance of a hurricane but that’s only in hurricane season
Other than all those reasons its great!!! Those are the main things about me. On this NEW blog I will write basically anything that comes to my mind. More coming soon!!
